Kawak 28VDC Brushless Motor

The Kawak 28VDC brushless motor was developed in partnership with Kawak Aviation as a drive for a hover refill pump (HRP). The HRP water pump is suspended below firefighting helicopters and allows them to refill their water tanks from lakes or rivers, without landing. The pump delivers 600-900 GPM, allowing the helicopter to refill quickly to maximize their firefighting capacity. This motor is completely sealed, including double shaft seals, rugged aluminum housing, and integrated Electronic Speed Control (ESC) for compactness and simplicity of operation.
