Down-Hole Monitoring Tool for Oil and Gas
A Norwegian Oilfield Technology Company contacted us to create a custom-developed multi-sensor tool used for subsea drilling. This device integrates temperature, pressure, magnetic flux, compression measurements, a 3-axis accelerometer, data logging, and a wired communication link. It operates at temperatures up to 260°C, has ultrasonic and electromagnetic sensors to accurately measure the thickness of metal structures – all designed to operate in harsh environments to detect casing collars for subsea drilling.
Pivot International’s subsidiary, A2E Limited, fully designed, engineered, tested, and manufactured this tool, as well as sourced all materials.
